Which way do they go?

Trying to remember how the front seat belts in my 68 Dart went. Do the retractable part with the male belt buckle go on the trans hump? Or do they go on the rockers? Thanks!

Edit: Car has bucket seats if it's not obvious.

Retractor on outsides. Large part of the roller out, I do believe.

The retractors should install on the outside of the seat.
