Trying to get info on your setup. Just how I’d like to do mine. Any issues with factory magnum brackets with rpm intake is what I’m looking into. Factory tall t-stat housing?

On my 360 in my 66 Plymouth Valiant, 2 inch drop base on my air gap gave me enough room for 4 inch filter element, just a 3 inch in it now, so I would say a 1 1/4 drop base will be perfect for most

Only input I can give it is almost certainly has to be the right RPM intake. The #7577 is Magnum specific and is the only one that put's the thermostat in the right place to fit the AC compressor and alternator. Just in case you didn't know.

That is intake I have, I was just looking for some better pics maybe. My brackets came from 2002 1500. They look the same. Most everyone I see has converted to La style timing cover with older accessories, I plan on keeping magnum cover and accessories. His setup just looks super clean

I got that picture from this site but was awhile back and like a dumbass I didn’t screenshot with his screen name.

If you are running a A.C. compressor on stock magnum

brackets with the 7577 intake you will have to drill out the port for the heater hose on the passengers side . The port on the drivers side which is the correct size will be covered by the a.c. bracket. Edelbrock gives you an inlet port on the passengers side but it's way to small and will need to be tapped larger. Also check distributor to intake clearance, mine hit and the intake needed to be clearanced.

Just click on the screenshot pic & hit the menu & info/details, if it was a current thread You'll know what date range to look in, then just a matter of which forum it was found in. Good luck with that & Your project.
Come to think of it, depending on the phone, the gallery already shows when...lol..
