Can someone please help with MP #5249741. It's supposed to be a lt. wt. rod for small block. I'm looking for actual weight, I or H beam, and quality bolt used. It's probably in an older catalogue. Thanks

2000 catalog say's lite weight forging made fom 4340 with HD bolts/ARP for sb with floating pin.

I 'think' there long discontinued.

about 5 yrs ago...mopar sold the remaining stock on those rods...

they were going fo 150 dollars for a set....

the balance pads need to be machined to get the weight down...dont remember what they weight as i have a set at home but i am not home for another week.....put i am pretty sure they are just over 700 grams...

the scat i beam 4340 rod weights 595 and is ready to go a less then 300 bucks...

340 rods are about 700 or so grams though, my h beams are 694 grams.

Weren't those rods the same as the 1991 up magnum rod?
Narrower small end- less weight plus cleaner casting?

if i was home i would give ya a picture and weight...but i am pretty sure they weight in a 725 grams...like i said ...the balancing pads have alot of material that can be machined off to lighten them....

actually i have 3 sets of them....the price at the time was too good to pass up...LOL...
