Make sure to read up on the MSD box you have. They are different in some ways... The higher the number box you got. the more features it has.
And Yes,,, Multi spark distribution or (MSD) will mess with some timing lights.

I don't think ecurve dizzy has multiple spark unless running a box as well.

you cant use a digital dial back timing light with an msd box, the multi spark messes with the light. Any analog type light will work better.

This has been my experience.
I was told to use this and I have no problems anymore.

As a side note , if the wires are reversed on the MSD pick up ( sometimes from the factory like this ) it will cause havoc with your timing.

as just said, try turning the mag pick up wires around, sometimes they can make it read wrong.
