That kind of stuff is never anywhere near Indiana

I have actually been preaching on here for years that driving across the country and towing a car home will, in the end, save you east coast guys thousands and greatly shorten your build times.

you are so right 1968FormulaS340 ( wow ya got a long name!??)....... unless ya are a glultten for punishment BUY:
1.. as rustfree and straight car as ya can... if ya got to travel 200 mi or 2000 that's the cheapest way to go in the long run.....
2. project.. buy a complete car unless you a lready got a parts car or been saving parts for that model for decades!?????
3. buy one ya can drive or at least hear it run!!!!???
4. shipping... unless ya got connections to HONEST person in car haulin busness, count on getti screwed!! ya better off to take road trip and haul it home (tell the wife its her vcaction) or fly out and drive it home and have a ball ( less it breakdowns down, then that would be another memorable chaper in ya life!?????)....
5. figure that any car that appears to be rustfree, will generally have some pin holes where it rusted from inside. so there will always be some rust repair....... but a lot cheaper than working on quilt car!????
OR, maybe ALL the car guys that live in western dry states should have to pay guys back east some sort of sur charge tax things to support our workin on less desirable cars!!!!?????????????????????? LOL. .... no really!!??
