Just curious if i went with a set of Cragar's 14x6 if i can put this size out back on my 73 swinger, 4 wheel drum brake car....stock rear and leaf springs....will they work?

They don't make a 255/60R14 tire, did you mean a 245/60R14 tire? If so, the 245 will fit no problem on a 14x6 rim, I had some 245's on Rallye rim on a 69 Dart and still had plenty of room, looked nice too.

Biggest tire available for 14 icnh wheels is 245-60-14 They fit on my 74 Swinger with worn slant springs on factory 14 inch rallye's off my 73 340 Duster

a put a 255/55-16 on the back with no issues, could go bigger

I have 255/60r15 in the rear of my 72 swinger. Had to bend the opening a bit. But fine towards the spring. Don't know my BS yet....

im surprised you had to do this.. my friend has 255/60r15's on his 71 Swinger, with no issues...

255/60/15s are on my car right now its a 74 swinger, I did not know they did not make that size in 14"s

If you are using the 14 inch rims, go with the 245-60-14 they look good on the car, any wider you may as well mini tub the car.
or go with the 15 inch.
just make sure you can pull the front wheels of the ground can't stand cars that look big but perform little....

My 73 Swinger had 245-60-14 on factory Ralleys and I went to Summit Racing 15's with 255-60-15's. Fit great with no mods on back.
