just bought a 67 Dart GT wondering if a 68 grill will fit with no modifications also is there any other differences between the 67 and 68, besides the grill rear lights ,rear panel and k frame ?

Kind of looks like my garage there with both a Blue oval and Mopar setting side by side. Except for me Ive got a 64 Fairlane 500 sports coupe and a 71 Plum Crazy Duster

The picture is from graigslist I just bought the dart I will post my own pictures at a later date, also have a Duster, but the Ford is not mine, the garage is not mine either but it is nice.

According to this thread
1968 Dodge Dart GT Front Grill -> 1967 Dodge Dart GT
67 68 grills are interchangeable. I know 69 headlights are further apart so not interchangeable without changing headlight buckets or full fenders as well.
I know---you didn't ask about 69, but figured I'd add a little extra info.
Edit sorry, 69 headlights are closer together, I had it backwards

I've been told only 67 had the narrower headlight mounting, so "no"

Mine is outside "torn down" if you need a measurement between the lamp buckets let me know

I had the 68 grille out of my 67 last winter when I did a bunch of work to the front end. It bolted right back together without any hackery?!?! The tail lights are a different story though.

Don't forget that the 67 uses a different gas tank and mounting strap, and different arm rests. I know there are other one year only parts but it's too early and my coffee hasn't kicked in yet.

So Brian you are saying the 67-68 grilles DO interchange with no mods?

Well, since we’re all supposed to be here to help each other out, why don’t people that know something try to give correct information rather than just clicking “disagree”, but not saying anything. If I post something that’s wrong, please post what you know to be true, & correct me. Now I’m left wondering what’s wrong, the thread I linked to, or the info about 69 grills.
Guess we’re left to scratch our heads & figure it out ourselves.

Thanks for info and I like that no hackery

I removed mine and reinstalled it over the last 12 months. I didn't do the original install, but there weren't any additional holes drilled or what I called hackery.
