Will a Duster Center Console fit a 68 Barracuda

I am in the process of bringing a slightly neglected 68 Barracuda (383 Automatic) back to life and am trying to find a center console for the car. The console was removed sometime back in the 1980s when the owner installed an aftermarket racing shifter. There is a console available locally from a 72 Duster that looks to be the same type of console. It has the original shifter attached. Would this fit the 68 Barracuda?

YES, they're the same as far as fit. If you're really particular about being correct, your 68 should have a line down the center though. Otherwise, they're virtually identical...

Exactly!

The console housing is correct and you can change the top plates if you like.

Auto and 4 speed bases and top plates are different.
