Will a trans for a slant 6 work for a 318?

I am restoring/modding a 74 Gold Duster that came stock with a slant 6. I was curious if the transmission would match a 318 that came out of a 79 Dodge truck. If you need more info, lemme know and I'll see what I can do.

No. You will need a SB trans. Bell bolt pattern is different.
