Will any drive shaft fit my Dart Swinger?

My 8 1/4 axle is done and painted. Now, I'm trying to save a buck or two. I was at the junk yard a couple weeks ago and noticed a couple of late 70's and early 80's Fury's with 360/904's and 8 1/4 rears. I was wondering if those drive shafts would bolt into in my Dart? It was just an idea.

I would think they would be close, except for the length. You might want to measure the yoke size on the axle end of the driveshaft, to make sure you have the same size yoke. Other than that, search on here for the driveshaft length measurement you'd need, and take a tape measure with you. When I swapped out the 7.25 for an 8.25, I found one the perfect length for my 72 at a junkyard for $10. Swapped my u-joints into it and off I went.
