Will the pillars support 3 point belts?

I'm looking at putting seat belts in my 1963 dodge dart 4 door. I want to put 3 point in at least the front, and I was wondering if my pillars would support a 3 point belt.

I'm kinda of the opinion it is a good point in minor collisions, and an excellent energy absorber in a severe collision if it does tear out , in which case the car will need serious repair anyway, - passengers less injuries than without .

I thought the same thing. I just don't think it would be fun to smash your face on the steel dash or on the face smasher 3000 steering wheel.
