I am installing a center console into my car and am going to use my aftermarket automatic shifter, not a factory one.

Will these 4 spd console brackets work if they are being used purely to mount the console?

70 dart automatic.

Looks like the only difference between the 4sp and the auto is the shifter mounting bracket.

Can someone confirm?

Yes, they should. You won't use the small bracket in the center.

Yes. I'm installing an aftermarket shifter in mine too. I had to cut the factory auto bracket off the floor so I could make a new shorter bracket for the aftermarket shifter. I'll only be using the U bracket and the long one at the rear.
