Im looking at getting some 17x9 or 17x 10.5 will they fit?

17x9 have 5.94" (151mm) bs

and 17x10.5 have 6.85" (174mm)

and for the front i would do 17x8 if possible with 5.72" (145mm) backspacing

all help would help me

Hummm, start by giving us a clue what there going on..Is your rearend stock? Any mods..
Perhaps someone has the same car.

8 1/4 duster
and later on i will be going to a 65 B body 8 3/4

I can tell you right now that anything beyond 4 7/8 BS is not going to fit on a car with stock spring location without massive spacers.. now with the b-body rear you might be able to get away with it but not sure...

get a carpenters square and take the wheel off of the car.. measure from the face of the drum to the leaf spring.. its like 5 inches.

speaking of spacers, does anyone use the bolt on ones that are > 1 inch thick?

i had a 225/50-17 on a 17x8 rim with 5.72 backspace on a stock suspension dart. 8 3/4 rear had big bolt axles and stock location springs.

I put 17x8 cobra wheels on the front of jennifers dart, with 245/45/17s,the fit the front good. Now the rears need the springs moved in,or atleast a 1/4 inch spacer to run the stock wheels on the rear, they hit the rear springsbefore seating on the axle.If you go with a 10.5 wide wheel,on a stock width rearend,i believe the wheels will be hanging out past the fender pretty far.If you like the 70s look, they will work on a duster, demon, dartsport, but not a dart without mini tubbing,or cutting the wheel wells like the hemi superstockers did
