WILL THIS COIL PLAY NICE WITH A MOPAR ELECTRONIC IGNITION SYSTEM

Hi Folks

1971 Demon with Hi Rev 7500 4 pin box and single ballast.

I have a NOS Accel coil from 1999 with a measured primary resistance of 1.2 ohms. Will the system function as designed if I use it?

(I forget the number, but it is not the plastic Super Coil)

I have various resisters here measuring anywhere from .5 to 1.2 ohms. Is there a target number that you look for when adding primary coil resistance and ballast resistance for an optimal combo?

Depends on which ECU you have.

You need to find the specs for THAT coil & get the correct bal res for it.
