Will this intake fit under my stock hood?

I will be rebuilding my 69 Barracuda's 340 over the winter and was considering upgrading the intake to an Edlebrock RPM. I was wondering if anyone has tried this combo with the stock hood and air cleaner. Any clearance issues? I believe the RPM is 1 inch taller than stock. I was also hoping to slide in a 1/2" spacer to better insulate the Edlebrock AVS carb as well. Unfortunately my car is apart and I cannot measure for possible interference.

Yes it will fit with no spacer. No, you shouldnt use a spacer of any kind with it. Edelbrock uses a thin metal plate, sandwiched between two gaskets, as a heat barrier. It works perfectly.
