Will This Suregrip Work?

Hey guys, will I have any problems putting a suregrip from a 741 case with 3.91 gears into a 489 case with 3.55 gears and stock axles? Will this work?

Thanks, that answered a couple of questions that I had.

As long as you use the proper carrier bearings it's drop it in and set the backlash and go. Easy as 1-2-3

Are all suregrip units the same? I may be getting a 741 case with 2.94 gears and no suregrip. If i like the gear ratio, I may consider suregrip later on, are all suregrips the same, can I just pick up any posi unit and have it installed in the 741 case?

Well i hunted back about 8 pages of post and found an answer to my question. Looks like posi units are all interchangable between the 741 742 and 489 cases. Guess i should do more searching and less posting
