Windage tray hardware

Bought a windage tray/came with hardware 4 main cap bolts ,8 washers and small attaching bolts , never installed one of these on a small block before ,so I assume you stack 2 washers on each main cap bolt ????

One washer under each bolt. Don't know why you got extra.

I have assumed in the past that the 2nd washers can be stacked and used to move the tray further from the crank, in case there are clearance issues.

That could be, if the kit was for both a 340 and a 360's you could shim it for the stroke difference. If it is much more than a 360 stroke I would think one washer wouldn't do it.
