who has the cheapest windshield rubber for sale. looks like mine is shot after i took the chrome off. 89.00 is cheapest i found so far. and is there a locking strip i have to use?? never done it before.

depends on the year and type of car latter ones didn't use a lock strip

Mine's a 76 and is uses a locking strip. I dunno but I'm pretty sure the later ones did in fact use locking strips.

$89.00 seems like the cheapest. They are not cheap.

its a 72 swinger, im just took the chrome off and dond see anything. don't really know what to look for or where but looks like the rear a lot. don't see that roll of rubber i think they talk about, looks like pick up truck winshield gasket to me. there is a line that looks like a razor cut, its on the side pillars not the top or bottom, where would the lock strip be if it had one. im hearing war stories on using new rubber, and would rather use orginal, even if my ain't good, might ask around for a used one. im not good enough on mopars yet. still learning
