Accordingto my Dodge 1973 factory shop manual, the drive link from the motor to the left side windshield wiper is held on with some sort of plastic bushing that snaps in place. I remember popping them on with channel locks 20+ years ago in my 1971 Valiant I had back then.
Now, my 1973 Duster was using an E-clip to keep the drive link on, but it pops off regularly, even squeezing it down didn't fix it.
In the Dodge manual, it looks like every car type except A bodies used a round metal retainer with a hook that fit over the end of the shaft. Can I use this or will only the plastic bushing work on my car?
And where can I get them or a part number?
