our 69 valiant spent some time in our back yard a while back. same jackass apparently shot the windshield with a pellet/bb gun. while it did not shatter, it needs to be replaced as the ding is right in the field of view. when it was on the trailer for its trip to washington, i stopped at one of those chip repair places and was told could not be fixed. anybody know where to get a replacement? i called around and was told that very few places deal with "old" stuff......:disgust:

You were told wrong. Just call your local glass vendor. Those glasses are reprduced in tinted and clear. Given the quantity listed on ebay recently there must be a fresh new lot of them. Good luck

I'm guessing you need a 4 Door or two door post windshield. A 69 Valiant should be a 2 door post car or a 4 door.

A windshield for a hardtop Dart or Scamp will not work, too short.

That is one $hitty deal:angry7:..... I thiknk the old "eye for an eye" should be put into place for a$$holes like this,except I'd use a baseball bat accross the knees.
People don't seem to respect other peoples property these days, and if they see something nice that they don't have, they feel the need to fudge it up for thoes who have.

I guess it depends on where you live, but regardless of what people tell you, the glass for our cars is NOT available from the big windshield chain stores. I ended up buying mine from eBay, and with shipping I had it here at the house for about $225. I installed it myself.
