Winshield Wiper Assembly??

Alright, I'm replacing the wiper pivot gaskets because I'm sick of having a pond under my feet when it rains. I noticed on the wiper pivots, there is a small washer (and it appears to be slightly warped on mine). How do I replace these? Is there a trick to taking these things apart?

Here's a picture of to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about:



It's the very thin washer under the black gasket...

Craig, I think that washer is actually a spring of sorts to take up any slop in the pivot. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong....

Yup, there's a wavy or spring washer and a flat wear washer at the top.
Shortening the right hand wiper pivot by 5/8" was a necessary evil in my DIN rallye panel mod, so now I know how to take the entire pivot assemblies apart. LOL
After tweaking the arms and new fillers, my wiper have never operated so smooth and quietly, even on a dry glass.
