Since my garage is not heated and uninsulated, each year about this time I turn off the water, move all my waxes and paint cans to the basement.
I was wondering if I really need to also move my wd-40 and other aerosol lubricants too.
Do you? Should I?

I don't know, I seem to come up with an alarming no. of stuff like WD that won't work, and won't work after they warm up, either. I'm beginning to wonder if the cold causes the valve seals to leak, and no more propellant.

I've left lube cans in the hangar now for 38 years, non heated down to -45C. None have ever failed to work...

I even have spray paint cans out there that I've used decades later for crap I don't care about. They still spray.
