wiper motor linkage removal?

how do i get the linkage that runs to the wiper motor off the drivers side wiper pivot? i cant see or feel anything other than what seems like a washer.

Pry the linkage off the pivot at the bushing. Hopefully it's not too brittle with age.

Just replaced my wiper arm bushings. I was able to go to Autozone and find the corect bushings in the help section.

Not to hijack this thread, but I have both my wiper pivots out and want to replace the seals (red arrow in pic). Where can I find something like this?

Yes, and keep the Neosporin and Bandaids handy - lots of jagged, pokey, metal edges.
