Wiper seals?

I am going to change out some wiper seals out for a friend.Should I use a sealer?Or just put them on dry?

I put mine on dry, maybe some wd 40 on the stem to assist in the install, not sure if you would need sealer-- they are a tight fit when installed & also when placing them on the stem ,Lawrence

The instructions I recieved with mine said to install dry and suggested to use liquid dish soap on the pivots to help lubricate the seals when you pull them over the pivots. A little hard to get on but works great.
