Is it normal for a variable speed/3 speed wiper motor switch to get quite warm after running for awhile? After, oh say 30 minutes of running, the turn knob of the switch gets pretty warm in my 68 Barracuda. Didn't know if that was normal, or if maybe I had some resistance issues at the firewall connectors or something.

Thanks

If it's variable speed, probably so. But it might be the wiper motor is drawing too much and "over" heating the variable speed rheostat. I don't know that there's a published figure for "proper" current draw.
