Ok I have a 73 dusted was a/ 6 now 318 the engine harness has 2 blue wires on the same pin in the connector. Can someone tell me where they go? I think they go to the alternator but how exactlly? Oh and one wire is bigger than the other thanks

Blue wires are used for switched 12 volts. You should have one going from the bulkhead connector to the voltage regulator, one to the ballast resistor and one to one of the field winding connections on the alternator. Sometimes blue is also used to go from the other side of the ballast resistor to the + side of the coil.

There was a thread on this site a week or so ago with a link to another site that had wiring diagrams. I would do a search and get a copy of the wiring diagram for your car.

That what I was missing the small one goes to alt field the large one must be choke witch I don't need I couldnt find electric choke on diagram. thanks a bunch to both of u
