I wired up a fuel gauge but hadnt connected to sender yet. Connected positive lead to the first tab of three tabs on fuse box, next to the accessory lead connection, and ground lead to a ground screw. Connecting ground to the lead on + side of gauge doesn't cause light to light up. Should it or should I connect the + to a tab after fuse like I did the tach? And does the ground strap still need to be in place for the sender? Last I checked, I didn't see it even though stock gauge worked after a fill up but below empty after a few miles. Temp gauge don't work and I'm not really worried about the limiter if I can plug the temp gauge into the plugged CCEGR hole in the radiator. Anyways, should the test light light up or did I plug it in wrong? Thanks in advance to everyone.
