Some friends of mine that restore classic cars and about anything else that comes along got one of these in (like this one) to do a total restoration on.I will have the pleasure of helping when I can.It was made in 1880.I know what it is but does anyone else

Yep, sure do! That's a beautiful steam-powered water pumper - made back in the day when manufacturing a piece of equipment was almost an artform. Wonderful craftsmanship.
