I just got my girlfriend 66 Barracuda front bucket seats back from the upholstery shop and I don't know if they switch things around or if I didn't recall? the slide button to make the seats go backward and forward is now on the inside were they always that way? Or are they backwards and should be facing the outside of the car like every other car I've ever had?

The seat backs got put on the wrong seat bottom bases or the bases and tracks got switched

The seat adjusters should be on the outside facing the doors as far as I know...

the only way I could tell was the passenger seat had a small scar in it that wasn't fixed. So I will just put them in correctly and it won't really matter but I was just wondering before I make a mistake and put them in backwards by accident if they would even go in that way. Thank you for everybody's help!

:wack:
my seat adjustment (slider) is on the outside, and the seat back knob is on the inside. as i remember,my new 68 form s car was that way when I bought it in 1968, i always wondered why they did that.
