WTB: 67 383 block

Hey Gang
Im looking for a 1967 383 block standard bore date coded around March or April. My car was built on June 9. So I need something that would fall in the correct time frame. Im located in Ohio so something near by would be the best but i would consider shipping possibly.

I have one with a 727 still attached, engine casting date is 2-14-67. It was out of a 67 Newport, I was told it ran but had fuel delivery probs, I never tried to start it, but it does turn over. Everything is still on the engine, minus trans kickdown assy, alternator spacer and plug wire holders.

Keep in mind that if this block is for an A-body, it has to have the provision for those driver side engine mounts that mount in the front. You can machine off the ears on the side but it has to have the bosses on the front for the mount bolts.

Not to hijak the thread but do you have a pic of what the mount for a a body 383 block looks like?

Actually I found out that my block is correct. They actually used a block that was cast in 1965. So im no longer looking for a block guys
