Looking for OEM 26" recorable radiator for my '76 Duster w/auto trans.

One of the tank numbers listed below should be correct for an auto trans application. Top tank must be in good condition with clear numbers. Application will most likely be a 75/76 V8 with A/C, or a 360ci car.

3869922 or 3869921

Steve,
I have one from a 1972 Dodge Polara with air, 727 auto and a 360

The part number on top is 3574 618 and under that no. is 59538

Core is 26" wide and 17-3/4" to 18" tall and 1-1/2 thick (2) core
Bolt spread is 28" wide
Top hose is on driver side
Bottom hose is on pass. side
Cap is in the center

Also has a shroud

You think this would work for you, or do you have to have
3869922 or 3869921

I can get pics if you want

Why not just go buy a new one? They are readily avaialable from Advance or Autozone for about $200 and they come with a lifetime warranty. The last time i checked on have a radiator recored it was nearly that much and no written warranty.

dcg33 - If you've ever compared the two next to each other, it would be easy to see why I don't buy one...no numbers, no logo, tanks not the same thickness, extra humps on the top tank, etc. It just looks like an aftermarket radiator.

Tony - My inexperience with Mopars at this point would preclude me from attempting to mix in non-A-body parts. Thanks anyway.

Dusteriffic, since you seem to be doing a swap from a \6 to a v8 I wouldn't think that origninality would be a concern and an aftermarket unit would be just fine. The markings and humps and such certainly have no impact on the function and only be noticed by the most discriminating mopar fanatic. Personally i wouldn't pay a nickel more for a part just because it had factory markings.

FWIW, Trans Pro (the brand at Autozone and Advance) merged with Modine a while back so even between the two factories they don't look exactly the same.
