well i bought an xtreme energy 274 complete kit and was building a 360 then decided i might want to go 408. How well would the cam work in a stroker?

Strokers eat up duration. You can run a bunch more cam in the engine than you might expect.
Call Brian at Indio Motor Machine 760-342-2178, if you give him your combo and goals, he'll get you a custom grind from Comp out of the lobe catalog. Guy does great work. He's doing a set of E-brocks for me right now that should support about 630 hp. He has a stock bottom end 360 with w2's/victor intake in 71 Duster that runs 10.60's. Beats a bunch of the stroker motor guys at the track with similar cars.
