year of /6

I need to find if the /6 in my 65 barracuda is original. I bought a cylinder head gasket set and everthing was ok. I ordered a valve cover gasket from the same place and is is totally wrong. I looked up the part numbers and it shows to be correct unless Felpro put the wrong part in the box. It had to be ordered so I'll have to order again.

I have seen /6 where the owner have changed the heads and valve covers for 74+ heads that way they get hardened valve seats and can run unleaded a picture would help with checking that a 75+ has the ccegr switch on the front of the head but a 74 looks the same just has a different valve cover and the hardened seats

thanks I'll check. The Chiltons Book said the engine serial number is 14 didgets and will answer most guestions. the numbers I see are
A 225 2 08 2
Thats sure not 14 numbers, so am I not loking at the proper location?
The book says it is located on the joint face of the engine block next to the no. 1 cylinder.
