So I went to the Good Guys show this weekend and found a re manufactured power gear box, but the vendor acted weird when I asked him if he had one. After a few seconds of funny faces he said he had one and they where hard to get so he went into his trailer and came out with one. when he handed it to me this thing seamed like it belonged in a 3/4 ton truck it was huge and I don't remember mine being so large. So I told the guy I would think about it and be back. Keeping in mind Ive been burnt by vendors before ( a rear bumper for my 68 dart that come to find out isnt even a mopar bumper Oh and no returns on show purches) my buddy talked me into buying it so I went back to get it and asked if he had a box for a dart he said no. Long story short I took a picture of it when I looked at it the first time and compared it to mine when I got home and it was the same one. Oh well mabe next time

I guess next time you will take the picture with you to the show, so you will know if it is the right one.

Ya, me too. It is just really hard to trust anyone these days. Like I've been burned 2 times already this year. Actually 3. 1 on ebay, the dude was selling bumper brackets and they were still connected to the frame rails. You couldn't see that in the pictures. Unless you have a torch, they are worthless. And maybe worthless anyway. Then again I sent a money order for $150.00 and "it never showed up". Then I sent a M.O. for $360.00 and it "never showed up". LAME!!!!!!!! I only deal with my friends on this site. And that is it. At least I can do a search and I can also just get to know people first. These days it is real hard to find a good group of people to deal with. But I have found them. They are all right here.

65barracudadude - You're right, it is tough to know who you can and cannot trust. Suggest you try USPS Money Orders. Cost you $1.05 each for the amounts mentioned in your post and can be replaced if lost or stolen. Much better than being out $310 because the "didn't show up". You can also send them registered mail with a return receipt so you'll know they arrived and were signed for. Cheap insurance.

Ya I should of taken a photo with me but I thought I remembered what it looks like I guess at the ripe old age of 34 my memory is not what it used to be

I tried kickin' myself once.................
