your opinions please

I am stuck between a 630 hp 418 or a 740 hp 470. I have a 416 in the car now but I want more power, so I am thinking of going either route. I am wondering if it is worth the time and money to go to the 470. I figure about 4500.00 more for the bb.
The car is a 72 dart with auto and the street lynx and a 8 3/4.

well, i'd like to chime in on this. i sure wish i was in your position... if you have the expendable cash and you want the HP. go all the way. if not, you will be regretful of the fact. then have to pay more soon there after. so if this engine choice will not result in you eating dog food for the next two years, Bigger is always better.

is the car, as it is setup right now, capable of dealing with the additional power? if you need to change headers/trans etc any way, might as well go big...

I'd always go for bigger with more horsepower if money allowed...

I think a lot of members wish they had your problem,lol.:-DI not too sure if bigger is better,maybe for some things,but if the rest of the car can handle it, go big!8)
