Id say chrome or brushed. But maybe leaving the center circular section black and painting the outer part red body color would break it up a little and make a big difference.

Triple 0 (.000) steel works wonders on little scratches in glass. If you cant find it anywhere else you can order it online from Harbor Frieght. ITs around $10 for a 50' roll I believe.

I like the black because it stands out more.

Before I bought my sandblaster I had called around to check on some rates and around here its generally $40-$50 and hr. So $75 doesnt sound totally outrageous, maybe just a little high.

Grab some scrap and go to town getting a feel for it!! One thing to be sure of is dont get over confident and get going too fast or you'll roll part of your hand right into it.

Easy off oven cleaner and then pressure washing did a great job for me. I did end up using a grinder with a wire wheel and then my sandblaster to get to the hard to reach places.

You can use a regular media blaster as long as you pick up the in line regulator for soda blasting.

You can use heat but you have to be VERY careful. I would only suggest giving a small propane torch a try as a last resort if nothing else works.

Well welcome!!! Yeah it looks like its going to need quite a bit of metal work. And Id for sure be careful as to how much frame is going to have to be cut away and replaced/capped. How much do they want for the car if you dont mind me asking? PS- This is by NO MEANS expert advice. Just my 2 cents
