I would hold out for a different center section. I had 4.11s in my street car and like someone said above it got really old real quick. I bought a used sure grip unit from a member on here with 3.23 gears and axles for around $450. Hold out and you will find something.

Have a 66 barracuda with a 360 motor and a 904 transmission. Transmission wont stay in manually selected 1st gear. Always shifts to 2nd. Shifter won't "click" into first when pulled down to the low slot. Is this something a shift kit would fix or do you think the stock console isn't allowing...
