    Just Blew 2 Head Gaskets at Once. First Run

    I suggest FelPro gaskets, assembly lube, on the threads. Follow factory torque sequence pattern; like from Chiltons etc. Go in steps,60 then 75 then 90 is what I did. :)

    What rear gear and cam you using? If your using this on the street, and have less than 3.90 gears, stay with the small valves. My 2 cents.

    changed the fuel filter lately? if your idle is set too low, that can cause stalling, I had to raise my idle on my car, for the same reason..... what type electronic ignition, some need more voltage, than using the stock ballast resistor will give.... Lee

    Heat block off intake gasket?

    I used Ultra Gaskets when I rebuilt my 318; I used some epoxy in the crossover ports in the intake to block the intake manifold side of the gasket from any excess pressure. It has worked fine for 3 years for me so far.

    do you have dual exhaust on the car yet?? if Not I would add duals Before adding a 4bbl; duals with a 2bbl will add a bit of torque, and great throttle response. :)
