go to the forsale section here there has been allot of acxtion on intakes lately and carbs...ain't nothin cheap anymore....give a pic of kind od carb you have maybe we cab figure out what knd of kit you need...I assumme it's a 2 barrell...you can find those things anywhere

yours does sound like an ingnition prob...but Did you put adjustable rockers on it....When I had a guy rebuild my 340...he had the valves so tight it was laboring bad....and wouldn't rev up....readjusted them properly....came right to life...totally diff car

Just make sure you run a new bolt down all holes and blow out good....and put oil on threads and washer ends aswell..They make Teflon stuff, but I can't think of what it is now...all the big boys use it like me...LOL

Burnt is right.....also are you going the right way....you should here the drill die down farely quickly when pressure is achieved

those are my fav v/c.....when you buy them new they send you xtra allen heads incase you forget where they are and break them off......

I have seen some of those cheap t-stats not work correctly...make sure you get a good one....and get a new cap too...I run a 7 lb one on my car

do not use that crap at all........so you have a rear main seal leaking or oil pan gasket leaking....either way pull pan.....

nope there is other bolts on the top as well...they are really long ones....do you have a stock valve cover there you can see where they are bolted on....

No such thing as a dumb question here........it should be by the battery....and has like 5 wires going to it.......

yea that could be...but try to jump the selonoid first like these others are saying.......to see if starter ingages

torque Spec............

3 gaskets right........if you overtighten it...it will leak as well....I can't find the torque spec on that...someone have it.....I don't think you need a new bolt...but I am not there...
