    If it is a stock dist with vac advance they put a lot of timing in with the vac advance.Look at the total with the vac hooked up and see what it is running 15 degrees initial

    Disconnect the vac advance if you have one.Set your initial about 18 add 18 to 20 mech for a total of 36.If you have vac advance adjust it to add about 6 to 8 degrees if it is adjustable should be fine set at these settings

    The problem i found with the vac advance msd dist is if your motor has 15" of vac like mine it adds 20 degrees of timing which is to much when you add your total timing and your vac advance.There is no way to adjust it like other vac advance dist

    I have not measured the ported vacuum i would think it would be the same as the manifold vac at cruise.If it is then if you you add the total and the 20 with adv you would be to high 54-56 total.I will try andsearch for the person who sells the mech advance limiter

    how to fix up bulkhead connector?

    On my duster i replaced all the connectors.Its not really that hard once you know how to get the clips out . You really cant clean the female connectors.Just replace all of them and be done with it.Good luck

    How clean this.

    You will never get the female connectors all the way clean.Do yourself a favor and replace them with new ones while you can get to them easily.I replaced every connector in my car.Time consuming yes.But in the long run you will be glad you did

    Mounted on the intake where the original one was.Got it from jegs dont have it in front of me.If you tell them what ignition you have they can tell you what resistance coil you need.Some have resistor built in them if you are not running a external resistor.If you cant touch it you got a problem...
