Motor plate & mid plate... any photos?

That was definitely a benefit. Many years ago I helped a friend with his race car with a motor/mid plate. When I first helped him he had a 11000 rpm SBC with a stick behind it. We spent lots of time pulling the trans for various reasons...mid plate sure did makes this easy.

    Trick Flow 240...

I did speak with TTI few days ago. Woman I spoke said that TTI has never verified fitment but has sold headers to quite a few folks running the 240 heads and have yet to hear of any fitment issues. I know a couple folks have said TTI headers will work with the 240's, just wanted to verify...

CnP (coil near plug) for big blocks

@AndyF....Found all the crank trigger/cam sync parts on your site. Bunch of questions. Didn't write anything down so if I ask something you covered on your site I apologize. Motor plate necessary? Which water pump housing? Is your kit complete or will I need any other parts? Will only work with...

    Trick Flow 240...

Thanks for the links. Any thoughts on any of the TTI headers fitting? I know the literature from Trick Flow states.... "Trick Flow designed the PowerPort 240 heads to use all factory-style big block Mopar pistons, roller rocker arms, intake manifolds, and headers" and "Exhaust Port Location...

    Trick Flow 240...

...what kind of power can be made with them on a 451? Do any of the TTI headers fit? Perhaps the better question is how much power will they make compared to the 270's? 11:1 or so compression, solid roller cam kind of build. Strip car that may get driven on the street...

    383 build for efficiency

Why a TBI EFI? From what I have been reading TPI has many advantages over a "self learning TBI". OD...assuming an auto? A lock up convertor will drop your rpm a bit...more importantly will eliminate all efficiency killing slippage at speed. Have always wondered how a stroked 400, say a 451...

    "451 Manifesto"

I purchased Andys book a few years back. Somehow I misplaced it... Was out in the garage working on the mower few days back, spent some time thinking... What if....one were to build a 451/470. Set of gently massaged aluminum heads, not MW ports with a full CNC program on them. Just simple...

    Iron B/RB Race Block Availability

From what I read there has been a crap load of troubles with the World iron block....pretty sure they have not been making them for a while, last I looked at their site only had aluminum listed.

    Which dual quad set up?

Not everyone has the luxury of being able to mount the motor low in the engine bay....Some of us have to navigate our way down unmaintained dirt roads....
