Just check to make sure those headers fit with your power steering otherwise you're stuck with the iron manifold. They aren't too hard to come by. I have seen those and the drop V8 center link on here in the last month. You just gotta be quick. Dennis

I don't understand what you mean by "assembly"? The mechanism in the car may work as far as I understand(not sure) but cables are different lengths for different years. If you look at RockAuto, they list the length for different years and body styles. I just replaced all the cables on my 66...

After closer inspection, 396 Signet is correct. The original carpet was sewn also. The stitches were covered with the rubber/plastic material and I thought they were "faked" in. I actually pulled a corner up and they are real stitches. All in all tho, I still am happy with my purchase...

Just an update since I think a couple of others were following this thread. I did buy from RockAuto and it was ACC when it arrived. Found out that ordering the Signet will get you "dots" on the heel pad and ordering the Valiant will get you the "ribbed" heel pad. The heel pad was welded in place...

The struts run from the from the lower control arms and the frame and you don't change the lower control arms so no need to change struts. I guess you are referring if you were to change the K member. Dennis

That's cool! I can see where some extra bracing could be handy right there. With the length of the exhaust manifold going down through the engine compartment, I can see where some over zealous wrencher could get some leverage on it and break it. Or maybe a hard bash on the exhaust system...
