when installing a holly fuel pump on the frame in front of the pass side tire its below the tank and using the factory fuel sending unit, which has the fuel line turned up, so the line would need to go up then down to the pump on the frame...if theses pumps like to push not pull..will that cause...

i have a non by pass regulator on my 440 now with two carter carbs, here is the issue i left the non bypass reg in place but oppened it up to use it as a fuel block for the two carbs...i also added a by pass regulator with a return to the tank. turns out the fuel sending unit has a 1/4 return...

can i trigger a relay for my fuel pump off of the starter relay on my dart? is there a good diagram for wiring up a pump using a three wire oil pressure switch.

so i went for a drive this eve, the 440 ran great for about 40min.. temp was at 195... as long as i was moving along it ran great, but when i came to a stop it would buck and spark knock and die with a big puff through the carbs. as it was acting up i put it in park and tried to give it gas...it...

how can you check to see if your fuel line return is working....also if it is working will you have fuel pressure on your gauge at the cab after you shut it off....

my straight axel dart has a harder ride, the 850 holley doesn't seem to like the bouncing around..tends to flood if the road is less that smooth...ideas...float level it good...one sujestion was spring loaded needle and seat like the rock crawlers use as well as a anti slosh tube and jet...
