my future motor is going to be a stroker small block w/a 2x4 carter set up. i would just like to see some setups and gather information on this adventure.......so post up please!

This set up is not in stone and only screwing around with my buddy. It is a Edelbrock dual plane with 2 - 600 cfm Edelbrock AFB carbs.The linkage, fuel line and air cleaner were employed for this. The intake being a dual plane is not exactly a match for the combo, but did have a nice response in the as is bolted on set up and OOTB carb jetting.
The below video is within the first few moments of intal start up. It started up, we shut it down and I got the camera.

IMO, I beileve a Weiand divided single plane dual quad set up would be a better match up since the cam is a 248* @ 050 in duration. The engine is a 11-1 w/Edelbrock heads and Hooker super comp headers @ 1-3/4 tube size.

There is plenty of clearance under the E-body Cuda's dual scoop hood.
The distributor needed to have the intermediate shaft rotated a few teeth in order to clear the intake.

i know, that's a crazy cross ram setup, never seen a chrome one before....wow, and badlil79's blown small blk, yikes.......i'm diggin' everyone, love those 2x4's!! i need a little more info on the combo's please.........if you have the time, i have my reading glasses on...lol.

Sure thing. I just love to mess around with stuff and change things up without notice or reason, so, look for a "testing" thread. I can not say when it'll pop up, I still need a few body panels and re-wire the main harrnass under the dash. What a FUBAR mess it is.

lol..........visiting an old thread........hoping some more 2x4 sets ups get posted......

i have a 2x4 set up for a 340 i'm building with indy-brock heads. the intake that i have is an old edelbrock dual plane 318 manifold that i was planning on gasket matching to the heads.

i've been contemplating on purchasing an indy mod man manifold for this build.

i would like to know if anyone out there has used this manifold, and there comments on it.........hopefully post some pics and opinions, and combinations on there builds......and thanks.

oh, and it would be kewl to see some more 2x4 setups here.........i know there's thousands out there..........

Love the blower motor, always wanted one. Just don't like the look in a convertible, so no hole in dart hood ........ LOL but that engine would look good in my Dart
