When I first went into the army I owned a 94 mx-6 LS, tell you what, that was sure a fun car to drive, quickish, handled like a go-kart and the ONLY vehicle iv'e ever driven cross country that didn't make my bad lower back worse. Even my previous e36 beemer wasn't as comfortable.

On that note, I DETEST rice, but to me rice is a classification of owners rather than a set type of vehicle. Yes certain vehicles are inherently born "rice" while others are created. Theres a mustang running around town that took its design cue's from a 17 year olds Honda civic. Than again theres a stock looking honda civic around town with an 88mm turbo that when it spools up leaves you feeling like your car just got injected with a bottle of halon(fire retardant chemical that works by displacing o2). Still rice but something I can atleast give the owner kudo's for....well no I cant because recently he died after wrapping himself and his car around a tree.....
 
I need to ask this, since you started a thread about Supras and are now defending Japanese cars against the naysayers, but you said this in another part of the website, right?

yes i said that but this is also general discussion.....which mean's i could talk about anything... it's for general discussion.....and other non-automotive stuff....at least thats what the header say's i could be wrong though correct me if i am....you can note i didn't put it in the MOPAR general discussion.

Yeah, and what I'm saying is that if Supras are your thing, then they're your thing. I'm not badmouthing one way or the other. If it's what you like, then it's what you like. No one can tell you otherwise. But since you've obviously taken some time out of your day to put in your two cents in other areas of the forum about what should and shouldn't be discussed then you shouldn't be surprised, or offended, when others do the same to you on...other...topics, no matter where you decided to post it up.

Get my point?

Then keep on going kid..My FORD truck was made right here in Kentucky,and trust me theres NO Mazda parts in it..could careless who Ford owns they also own Volvo or did..isn't it past your bedtime....

i agree with not wanting to buy anything after the mid 70's... all kinds of bad and just not my type...

that being said i have a 72 240z parked next to an 65 AWB plymouth...

lol Matt would be at the 8th mark before Supra boy had traction. Oh, you probably mean roll-racing (the built Supra's specialty).

btw, Matt has run 8's. He took the launch easy on Passtimes to avoid breaking an axle-he'd had some supposed high strength ones built and shattered them, so he was back on the stockers for Passtimes.
 
i love the old muscle cars, but i was into making some serious h.p out of 95-99 mitsubishi eclipse gsx. now, i am only talking 500-650 h.p not no 1000+.
it is just the feeling you get when boost kicks in at about 4200 to redline. that sudden burst out of those little 2.0, well, in my case, was 2.3 stroker.

there is different strokes for different folks i guess

sorry but i cant get the full sound of a turbo on a muscle car. i think turbos sound 10 times better on a tuner
