I was wondering ...I help a sht load of people with their stuff and get thanks for it which is cool and more than sometimes expect, but what I wanna know is...why the hell is it that when I need a part or something hardly nobody chimes in to offer up a sale to me or help with a part except those who live near like MAD DART,CRACKEDBACK,3408BRL,64PHYSY...basically the few locals around me....

I have even seen people offer to sell items to others who recently have asked about'em, but they bail out of the deal and I show interest...it's no response...or 'I need'd to sell them yesterday'...meanwhile I find them up for sale 3 weeks later when supposedly they could not wait 1-2days on me.

should I just give up and quit bothering with the general public anymore??

I mean hell....I've drove hours to help members here, members who have then promised me some return for my gas/time/work....then have them renig'd what they told me they would pay/trade/do for me in parts er/ whatever...you get the pic...even if was just a notion, it seems taken back in the end...:angry4:


The other day I was 1st in line in a thread for a wieand tunnel ram, the pos never even PM'd me back...:thumbdow:


Sometimes I feel like my ignore list could be 100 people long at the end of the day.

I have good days and bad days I know, so maybe I'm taking this for more than it is...but either way im'a little irritated and a lot less willing to go the extra for people.:?

I get the same kinda treatment. Nobody wants to buy my stuff and few answer questions I pose. You're one that always does. Thanks. I guess we're just a couple of assholes.

and wild im hving my friend look into those aluminum block spacers for the shackle
 
water off a ducks backside man , the site has been cliquey the last year or so ,I had one member post begging for parts to put his car back on the road then give me the thanks no thanks when I offered my complete front drum assemblies minus the ball joints and a good working 904 for free go figure
 
We were just talking about it in the "Everyone Hates 1wild&crazyguy Forum", and we decided that it's mostly because of the ampersand in your name.

its not just you.we are simply a means to an end and thats that.very few help me with ****....get used to it."friendship" flows when they need something,and evaporates after they get it.if your still in need of roller rockers you know i have a set.

Right. I have begged people to come get my stuff for free before scrappin it. Even offered to help those local to me with labor and my shop and equipment just to try and make new friends. I got not even a no thanks.

Be glad I'm not in GA or I would be at your house everyday talking your ear off and out running you in my power chair (now where did I put that 440?)
 
Why? I can't tell you. I can relate several simular dealings right here on FABO. I gave my word to a member to hold on to a pair of A -body 8 3/4 axles and a pair of loaded brake backing plates for a month until he had the money. I was even going to meet him on the road in Ga. to save on shipping. What do I get? 5 weeks later I contact him after not hearing from him only to hear, "Oh I don't need them anymore"! But I will continue to try and help members out when I can.

I'm still shopping rockers but I want to check those out before I decide.

....and I explained to you in great detail everything that ocurred that I did not need them. No need to leave all that information out and basically tell a lie. I had no idea I was going to end up with the 8.75 out from under my scamp. The friend I know in south Georgia changed his mind on the car. Which is fine. He is still my friend. I told you about all of that. I also told you I appreciated you holding them. I will be more than glad to send you a money order for whatever you think your time was worth. I didn't berate him on an internet forum for changing his mind like you have me. That left me with a totally complete 8.750 rear axle, so I had no use for your axles or backing plates. No need to leave all that out. I am glad we didn't do business now. I am honest to a fault. I see that you are not.
 
Know the feeling, know the feeling.....not here on f.a.b.o. but friends from around here......they have been replaced with cuter,sexier better wrench turners and way better conversationalists,not to mention they will guzzle a beer with me and can almost out belch me,they love to anhialate ricers in the duster,put tools back when they are done and clean up pretty good in case there some dancin to be done somewhere......so basicly I got my toes in the water my *** in the sand not a worry in the world a cold beer in my hand life is good today....life is good today :love4:
