RATTLECAN SPECIAL!

:walk:

Sometimes ya just gotta do what ya gotta do.........rattlecan special will get him racing this year!

Wiring a car is very simple (compared to today's cars). Just focus on one system at a time and don't move on until it tests okay.

Following what you have done so far I doubt that you will have any problems.

Nice car!!

Mike

I like the color and it does not look like a rattle can job...

Thanks everybody,It was a long wait and a new expeirience shipping from Alabama To Toronto,Ontario$$$I wish I could have just gone down and got it myself, but that,s another story.I,ll keep ya,s posted on my progress.

I am sitting here planning the route I will be taking tomorrow to get from North Alabama to NY state and pick up a parts fish. Gonna be around 1000 miles each way. One route has me going through Carlilse. So... when is that big car show up there?

The yahoo map program wants me to go through Ohio on I-71 but I'll pass on going through commie Ohio, thank you even if the program says it will take 2 hours longer.

MoparFest in New Hamburg,Ontario Canada is Aug.20-21/2011.Lastyear there was 1600 vehicles.:glasses2::thumrigh:

Day 2 of ..Get er done!Today I got the engine/tranny in and it,s all buttoned up underneath.I swapped my front 14,s for my new 15,s and put my meats back on the rear.Over the wintertime I swapped my XHD leafsprings into the 68 Cuda and put the worn Cuda leafs in the 66 Dart with Caltracs.I need to trim the 1/4 lip cause the wheel is tucked up more in the wheelwell. My new rear window is being shipped in the morning. Also my interior friend is gonna swap out my white headliner(damaged when the 1/4 was installed)for a black one I have:thumrigh:Tomorrow I,ll start the wiring, get my grill and bumpers back on.Here,s a couple pics of my engine/tranny going in as one.
Oh yeah,my K-frame modifications worked,Mildoon pan clears easy now.

Thanks for encouraging comments!

I fired her up last Thursday before my 3 days away from the hill to attend an APA 9 ball team tournament 180 miles away, BOY!! It sure felt good to here her fire right up :thumrigh: It helped clear my mind for Treva and my 3 days away :thumrigh: I have been having problems putting the heater hoses back on and I need to go get me a new alternator and I plan on taking the alternator off today and give the heater hoses another try on the /6.
I bout the heavy good red hoses and they are stiff as hell, but a member said I could spray carb cleaner on the ends that go to the engine and it will help me put them on, No problem at the fire wall :thumrigh:
Looks like you made a big move on yours!! I see the Heart is in and looking great :thumrigh: Congratulations and enjoy the time you have coming to you :hello2:

Good news Mike!Any lube will help with the hoses or you could boil some water and set the ends in to soften them up.With some lube, they should go on easier.Looking forward to some new 2011 Arkansas scenery!Good luck.:glasses2:

I put Vaseline on and I could only get them on about a 1/4'' then I boiled some water and placed the end in it for about 5 minutes and I ran outside and I still could not get them on :-x:-x I about threw the hose out in the woods :eye:
I will give it another try today and if it gives me more trouble I will just buy the softer black hoses :hello2: Here I go :happy3:

Time well spent today:glasses2: That sure looks better in there don't it :thumrigh:
You made a big move on your 66 today :hello2:
