3M's heavy duty spray adhesive works well. Clean surfaces, spray carpet and console, allow to get tacky, then bond them. Keep applying hand pressure to the entire surface. Done!

I would imagine 3M weatherstrip adhesive would work good too. Black not yellow. LOL
I thought I was going crazy but there are two threads going. LOL
