It,s Mopar Day at Cayuga Speedway(Toronto motorsports Park)on September 11/11.This is a great car show and T&T for all makes of Mopars. This is your chance to let your car scream down the track before putting away for the winter time. Also meeting other Mopar heads!I,d like to see some members cars out for a good time, hope to see some there for some fun!

Hey Craig, lots of guys run their cars in stock form. It,s about meeting other Mopar freaks and having some fun with your car...legally.bring some of your friends with their cars.

I wanted to go, but my son is playing at the Paris fair on Sunday. Good luck with the '66. 10.70...all day long Bud:burnout:

Three years ago I was the promoter of Mopar Day at TMP.
It was the biggest Mopar Day they had seen in years, that being said this is how it went down.
I had two car classes, one truck, Hemi Supers Stock (12 cars), car show (63 cars) and a swap meet, and Mopar Performance from Detroit.

We had good pay outs and big *** trophies, I had a guy that payed the big bucks out to have the Hemi Super Stock class, what he saw was the test and tuners doing roundabouts one run after another he counted one car that made three passes, when it came to the the Hemi's they only has one pass before the eliminations started. WTF! by the time I found out it was to late. Lot of **** got screwed up by the track that day you would have thought it was there first event, I even had to fined a announcer because there's never showed up.
This all being said the track made over $11.000.00, and I was not payed out what I was suppose too. This is one more more reason why Mopar Day has been such a flop, there are many stories like this that have happened over the years, and not to get into it to much further in to it they still owe me.
This is nothing to what they did did the pore guy that tried it last year, he may chime in I know he goes on this site.
So this being said the local Mopar guys that know what when down do not support there Mopar Sunday. Some day they will find out you can only screw people so many times before you get it in return.

Thanks for winding me up PBD

Kenny

I know last year 5 of us went down. One of my buddies called in the morning to see if it was still a go because there had been rain.3 hours of driving later we show up and they say..no go! even though the track was drying up.Lots of pissed off Mopar guy's! I didn't take my car so I was not as pissed as everybody else.I found it to be unprofessional. So I hear ya Hemiroid!

Sorry Kenny I didn't mean to strike a nerve with you.I personally just go to run my car and socialize. If I can win some money, even better.

Scott, thx for posting this up. This is one event I would like to see done better. I hear Grand Bend's event beats it to the ground!

I will try again. Always rains when I can go. Over the last 3-4-5 years, gone twice, rained, cancelled at the gate.
Now, not my department but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
wouldn't you hold this thing in a better timezone than Sept? end of the season??

But it is suppose to be MOPAR DAY right?

If anyone's driving, post up where from, maybe we can hook up? Maybe I"ll take the bimmer?? lol

:eek:ops:

Hey Martin, bring the Chally out for some fun.(I have spare slicks or drag radials)If not bring your camera, would be nice to finally get some wheels up pics or at least a good video of me coming out of the burnout box John Force style. LOL

Hey was able to play live for a radio station, then they put him up on the big stage. He was only supposed to do one song, but I guess they liked him. The big stage performance is on youtube. Type in "BillyJWhitemusic" if you want to see it.

Young Billy sounds good! Can only imagine how good it would sound with a full band behind him.Way to go Billy J.

Thanks Scott. His band really is awesome. We lucked out with them. They really punch it up, and make Jr sound professional.
