I am waiting to hear back from him, he is in Tennessee, when I seen the exhaust was clear of the water pump I got to looking closer, I wounder how bad they leak, it does look like it will clear everything on a low dec 170/... some one has a few hours on that moc up.. as you can see it is not bolted on..

the more I think about it mite be something to have I think the compressing is higher in them and could be an industrial motor better rods and crank yes higher rpms. just a guess......Artie

If its not homemade it is probley off of a forklift or something.
I am more interested in the exhaust, looks like it could be cut and separated from the intake :toothy9:

Seeing as it's a slant 6 pickup with a manual trans, it may have a 3.55 or 3.91 sure grip in it. I'd check that for sure.

What a bunch of cobbled up bullshit.

Thank you Artie, all I am interested in is the exhaust not the / or the propane intake..

I am thinking that it is a propane set up.
yes =D>

I am thinking you are right.

And you don't want it Mike. I have a propane forklift. She is a cool blooded SOB. LOL
I bet it is Burntorange, I would think propane runs much cooler and cleaner =D>

Bullshit is they don't make tube headers for a 170 low deck SS..

Thank you for this thread, I see that this is a propane system and know I will keep an eye on other old fork lift's for a good exhaust for my bigger head :coffee2:

Don't use that intake, only use it for the exhaust. The intake is a pos. That's not even close to the efficient factory design used. You'd be better off bandsawing a log manifold off a ford 170 and welding that to your head than to use that thing.
